Expo 2015 Milan
This year hosted the exhibition Expo 2015 in Milan, where Kazakhstan took part. Italy and Kazakhstan signed 20 contracts totaling approximately $500 million of the Event with the participation of heads of Italy and Kazakhstan took place in the framework of the exhibition EXPO-2015.
The country has concluded a number of treaties in areas such as food production, textile production, oil sector and construction.

Among other things, signed the agreement on assignment of shares in the project of exploration and production at the site of "Isata" between "KazMunaiGas" and "Issatay Eni B. V." In addition, in Milan has signed a Memorandum of mutual intelligibility between the Ministry for investment and development of Kazakhstan and some Italian companies. Another Memorandum concerning the cooperation of the administration of Astana, Union of machine builders of Kazakhstan and the Federation of Italian associations of machine-building industry ANIMA.

- Memorandum of understanding between the Investment and development Ministry of Kazakhstan and Italian company "Italcementi Group";
- Memorandum of understanding between JSC ""Kaznex Invest" and Italian company "Inalca S.p.A.";
- Memorandum of intent between JSC NC "KazMunaiGas", Italian company "DRILLMEC S. p.A." and "Aksai Industrial Park LLP";
- Memorandum of cooperation between Akimat Astana, the Union of machine builders of Kazakhstan and the Federation of Italian associations of machine-building industry "ANIMA".
